2. api.eveonline.com sporadically returns error 221 - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
If you make the Error 221 not cache for 24h and instead only cache for somewhere between 5 and 15 minutes, that would solve the problem in the OP.

4. api.eveonline.com sporadically returns error 221 - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
When I make calls to /corp/Locations.xml.aspx and /corp/StarbaseDetail.xml.aspx with a properly permissioned corp API key, approximately 4 out of every 1000 calls executed to those endpoints fail with error code 221 ('Illegal page request! Please ...

5. Sticky:EVE API and Public CREST discussion - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
As someone who is more frequently in the position of a defender than an attacker in W-space and is purportedly one of the people this change buffs: I oppose this change and think that it will negatively impact the amount of pvp in W-space, AND wi...

Thanks for the tip. "- Unfortunately, the current state of the API doesn't specify which corps belong to which factions." <- method doesn't work for my use, because I need to know if someone is specifically in minmatar FW rather than in some o...

Not currently. How do you expect to use those values? If you make a raw API.get() call we could expose it, but when we're doing more complicated processing it seems like it could be confusing if we returned you a single timestamp if more than one...

10. Method for pulling factional warfare status of a corp/alliance? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
That does not help, as it requires an API key from a director in the corp of the player I'm looking up. This needs to work for arbitrary random players who have no reason to trust me with an API key, especially if they're kill-on-sight and about t...

11. Method for pulling factional warfare status of a corp/alliance? - in EVE Technology Lab [original thread]
It would appear that the only method of determining whether an alliance or corp is enrolled in FW is to examine killmails currently, as there is no sanctioned API mechanism for displaying the faction of a corp or alliance when it is examined via C...
